If you have an emergency in your stream system, where life, crops or property are in imminent danger, please do the work that needs to be done, and follow up with an Emergency Notice to the Conservation District within 15 days of doing the work. In this very busy stream permitting spring, photographs are helpful in determining what needs to be done, and what was done.
From what I’ve read on the news this morning, the Sun River, the Dearborn River, Elk Creek, and Ten Mile Creek are all flooding and that may not be all of them. Hang in there, I’m sure before we know it, dry weather will be here and we’ll all be breathing smoke from wildfires again!
