The Lewis and Clark Conservation District will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the hearing will be held via conference call/zoom conferencing.
The purpose of the public hearing will be to review the Conservation District budget and to consider increasing the permissive mill levy to cover employee benefits for an additional Conservation District employee.
This proposal would amount to about $.60/year per $200,000 home value, currently, the amount is about $.25/year.
