The Conservation District is active to varying degrees in several watershed efforts.  We participate in several watershed groups including:

Dearborn River

Sun River 

Elk Creek (part of the Sun River Watershed)

 

In 2011 and 2012, the Conservation District had a technical assessment done on Elk Creek, a major tributary to the Sun River. 

After severe flooding in 2018 and 2019, the Conservation District facilitated an assessment on Elk Creek for agricultural landowners.
