The next regular meeting of the Lewis and Clark Conservation District will be Thursday June 8 and will begin at 9:30 am. It will take place at the Augusta Community Center, next door to the Augusta Senior Center and across the street from the Allen’s Mannix Store.

This meeting will be followed, from 11 to noon, by the 1st of two Local Work Group meetings for the county. Local Work Group meetings assist the Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Lewis and Clark Conservation District in gathering information about current and/or new natural resource concerns, related to air quality, water quality, plant health, soil health etc. These meetings help the two organizations plan for new projects and direct funding availability. You can also submit written comments to the Conservation District on your natural resource concerns by emailing chris@lewisandclarkcd.org, or you can fill out our Resource Concern Survey.
Both meetings have a virtual component, though we encourage you to attend in person.
