2024 Local Work Group Meetings

The Lewis & Clark Conservation District, and the NRCS Helena Field Office are co-hosting 2 Local Work Groups in 2024. The first will be on June 25, 2024 and will be at the Trinity Elementary School, 7435 Duffy Lane, Canyon Creek, MT 59633. It will take place for 12 noon to 2 pm. The second will be on July 9th, 2024 and will be at the Wolf Creek School, 150 Walsh Street, Wolf Creek MT 59648. It will take place from 12 noon to 2 pm. 2022 Annual Report

As part of our year-end activities, the Conservation District puts together an annual report of their activities. It can be viewed here. In December, the board reviewed the planning for 2023 with changes to the Strategic Plan for 2022-2026 and the operations plan for 2023. With the loss of a staff member, we hope to be hiring in 2023 at some point, probably closer to spring. In the meantime, our current staff member, Chris Evans, will be taking some annual leave before year-end and will be back January 3rd.
