2022 Annual Report

As part of our year-end activities, the Conservation District puts together an annual report of their activities.  It can be viewed here. In December, the board reviewed the planning for 2023 with changes to the Strategic Plan for 2022-2026 and the operations plan for 2023.  With the loss of a staff member, we hope to be hiring in 2023 at some point, probably closer to spring.  In the meantime, our current staff member, Chris Evans, will be taking some annual leave before year-end and will be back January 3rd. Federal Shutdown-Office closed-Still Working!

Since the Federal Government shutdown Friday night, the Lewis & Clark Conservation District has temporarily moved operations. We can still be reached on email at lccd@mt.net, you may leave a voice mail at the office phone 4064495000 ext. 112. I am still taking registrations for the Winter Grazing Seminar.  Early Registration ends today at close of business (4 p.m.), at which time, the cost goes to $80. Office closed

The Conservation District office will be closed Thursday morning, June 9,  from 7:30 til after noon since the Board meeting is out of town.  We should be open in the afternoon.   The office will be closed again Friday June 10th. Please let us know if there's anything we can help with!

Holiday Season

Just a reminder that we have entered the holiday season.  The Conservation District office will be closed November 11 for Veteran's Day, the 25-27th for Thanksgiving and December 24th and 25th for Christmas.  The office will be closed January 1 for New Year's Day. The Montana Association of Conservation District's annual convention is in Missoula so the CD office will also be closed November 17-20th.  Leave a message though or email since I'll be checking in at least once daily. As always it's best to call ahead to be sure someone will be in the office if you stop in.
