Lewis and Clark Conservation District is excited to announce we will be hosting a spring photo contest. The theme is spring green although we encourage all entries that include aspects of the Conservation Districts mission statement such as agriculture, natural resources, education, and community. Rules for submission are listed below.

    1. How to submit a photo
      1. Remember if you have your account set to private, we may not be able to see your post, if you want to keep that setting enabled consider submitting by email.
      2. Facebook – reply to any announcement post or by direct message to the CD’s page.
      3. Instagram – tag lewisandclarkcd in the photo or mention the CD by including @lewisandclarkcd in the post.
      4. Twitter – reply to any announcement post or by mentioning the CD by including @LewisnClarkCD in the post.
      5. Email – Photos can be submitted to please include “Photo Contest” in the subject line. All email addresses will remain confidential.
    2. All photos must be original work, taken by the contestant.
      1. No third party may own or control any materials the photo contains, and the photo must not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person.
    3. Photo must be taken within the boundaries of Lewis and Clark County Montana.
    4. By entering the contest, entrants agree that photos submitted can be used by Lewis & Clark Conservation District for outreach and promotion purposes.
    5. Winners will be selected by the Lewis & Clark Conservation District Board of Supervisors and announced on the Lewis & Clark Conservation District’s page.
      1. First place wins choice of Lewis and Clark County Landowner book or CD apparel, second place wins choice of Lewis & Clark CD apparel, and third place receives an honorable mention.
    6. The photo contest is in no way sponsored or affiliated with the social media platforms it is hosted on.
      1. This includes Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
    7. Photos that contain sexually explicit, nude, obscene, violent or other objectionable or inappropriate content, as determined by the Conservation District in its sole discretion, are ineligible for this contest.
